I have been searching for a used Android cell phone (LG G4 or V10) with 5.1 os version (because of Doze problems).
Every listing I have looked at does not include the current os on the phone. A majority of these sellers say they inspect and test these phones, how hard would it be to note the Android os version of the phone.
I have to email every seller to ask what the os version. Half of the sellers don't respond.
The OS version is pertinent information and just as important as the hardware specs or the cosmetic condition.
Why is Ebay not requiring sellers to include this important part of the buying information?
I have become so frustrated that I have been forced to look elsewhere on the web for used cellphones. Yes, most sellers (not on ebay) include this information along with the hardware info and cosmetic condition.

I agree!

Probably because most buyers, sellers and eBay employees don't even know what an OS is.
