I have still sooo much to learn..and it's not as easy as when I had my younger brain!!

Yes it is $14.95 per month for Stamps.com
We send out enough to make it worth while.
My wife does long arm quilting for a living. She is always mailing quilts out with stamps.com
Makes it worth while.
The ebay or PayPal shipping thing works fine too. We were using that till we got stamps.com
We made friends with the mail carriers here over the years. Give them gifts during the holidays and give them bottles of water. They pick us up every day no problem at all. We have a box out at the front door with the stuff in it.
They will work with ya usually.
Sure understand how it takes time to learn. Same problem here B-)

Hang in there and like you said ... baby steps ... one day you will look back and say oh my that wasn't so bad.
Hope you get your back payment from disability worked out. That would be so frustrating and that can lead to further problems.
It's okay to vent ... we are here to listen and support you when and how we can. So vent away .... anytime.

Does anyone know about turbo listing? I was reading on it but the more I read, the more confused I get.
Do I need a store to turbo list? Is it more for people with multiple items of the exact type?
I need to get my butt in gear and start listing!!!

Sorry I don't know anything about turbo listing.

I've been using turbo lister for years. If you have a lot of similar items that you are listing at the same time, it's very useful. If you are only listing a few things at a time and they are all different, you are probably better off not using it. It gets a little finicky at times.

Thanks... I think I'm better off staying away from anything that can be a problem.. 🙂

We use Turbo Lister all the time. It is difficult to learn. And has some issues within they never seem to fix.
We have a lot of listings so we need something like that. When we had only a few listings we used the normal ebay listing things and it worked fine.
Thank you for staying active here during the slow summer months of posting.
Enjoy your day,

I have never used turbo lister as I don't sell one or two items ... I go for the gusto and buy up whatever I think will sell and make me a profit.
My son uses Turbo lister but then he sells lots of guitar strings and such. He also owns a brick and mortar guitar store as well as his web site.

Sounds like you got a good plan Kate.
Ya wanna hear my wife when she comes in here with her "trash finds". She originally learned this from me going back when we first met. I was always digging into trash. In those days we'd go to the dump. I'd come home with more than I dumped. 😄
A friend of ours goes to auctions. He buys those boxes full of stuff for low cost. Sells the stuff on ebay. He does well with that.

Yeah, I have been to auctions too ... you can get some good deals. Would love to go to storage cell auctions but they genreally hold them mid week and since I don't drive ... well, there ya go.

O'h those storage shed sales they'd be great to attend. Lots of good stories about things found in them.

I'm not sure if this is the right category or not so I'll just go ahead. I was going to list my 1984 Olympic silver dollar but decided not to because there are so many up right now. Just for the heck of it I went over to Amazon. There weren't as many but the ones that were there were double the price the ones on ebay are going for. I'm seriously considering trying to sell on amazon. Have any of you had any selling experience there?

I've sold 3 books and a CD on Amazon and it's easy.. I would recommend you try it. Honestly...
