Not getting FB from buyers

Well... I sold my 1st 2 items and did quite well, I think. But haven't received any FB from the buyers. I know the FB would help me but how do I get it without sounding pushy? Any ideas from you, wonderful people... Thanks so much, Janet

Yup... I see it too. It is good people are voting in order to maintain a happy group.. With our medical/mental issues, I think the private is the way to go. Besides, I know I will have some crazy questions w/ my lack of cognitive ability and all of you are so awesome in understanding...

Nice to see how happy you both are. Looks like so far private group is in the lead.

Sorry about not posting been havin medical procedures every day. Another one today (thursay) Asked them to look for a 3 pound coffee can full of cash in there. Or one of my fathers boots. Maybe it's stuck up there. :^O

Ebay really does need to do something about the fb system.

I always say no FB is good FB 🙂

I have a neg from a buy who bought a pewter belt buckle... it was unpainted so just a plain silver color.

Left me a neg saying sheordered a gold one. I never had a gold one. Needless to say the neg stayed the person didn't speak english no use fighting it.

My other they said they never received it yet the DC said they did, but the buyer ID is in India and it was sent to NJ? very odd.. oh well they will drop off after a year then I'm sure some other person will di it again.

There are some out there who seem to intentionally leave Negs all over the place.

ON the Power Seller group a couple weeks ago there is a girl who is a single mom stuggling to make a few dollars on ebay. She had a perfect 100% feedback..

Someone came along and won bids on 35 items over one weekend. Then proceeded to leave her 5 Negative feedbacks every week for 7 weeks. Each one calling her names. Destroyed her business.

She kept calling ebay and they did change her feedback back to 99.9%. They noticed the buyer was doing this all over the place. So it appears it will get resolved. But the single mom and her children are not selling anything in the process.

This is one area where the big dogs at ebay need to look into. This happens to sellers now and then.

We had one 2 years ago that left a bunch of Negs saying "overpacking violations". ?:|

Said We were overpackaging things and just filling up the dumps.

Ebay eventually removed them all. But it took a long time. Interesting however it had no effect on our business.

Feedback should work both ways ... I had a non paying bidder and after the dispute ended ... I tried to leave feedback ... knowing I couldn't leave negative but I could say bidder never responded to emails and never paid.  Funny thing is though that ebay wouldn't let me put feedback on my bidder because no money changed hands ... so she/he gets off without paying and gets no negative because ebay is too protective of it's buyers.  And I don't think ebay gives the buyer a strike for not paying.

Back in the old days sellers were allowed to leave negative feedback for buyers. Now the only option we have when we get negative feedback is to respond to the feedback. Ebay HAS lost a lot of business which is why they are giving sellers all the free listings.

I can certainly empathise with the woman who got all that negative feedback. I am going through something similar, though not here on eBay. My ex has posted lies about me on a number of different sites. For a while I was completely destroyed by it but people close to me told me to ignore it. They said anyone who knows me knows it isn't true. I told them I wasn't worried about the people who already know me...I was worried about the people who are just getting to know me. What I have learned is that it takes time but people do see through the lies. I have no recourse on those websites but I will say that when my ex tried it here on eBay, eBay fixed it right away.
