Seeing issues with the new Community platform?

Thank you for helping us catch those bugs! While we did work hard to make sure we caught any issues before we released the new changes to the Community, there might be some issues that we didn’t catch. If you find any issues, please post them only here. The Community team will be actively monitoring this post and we’ll work as fast as we can to get them resolved. No need to @ mention us, if you post here.

 

Be sure to include links to the pages, screenshots, which browser you’re using and other relevant information you can share.

How do we get back to the old pages?

 

If I wanted junk pages like this, I could go to any kids site to see them.

Do you mean problems other than the giant blue header that is all I can see on the community home page unless I scroll way down?

Dear Khoros,

 

If the goal of this redesign was to wear out the scroll wheel on my mouse, it's a raging success.

 

If not, it's about as bad as I expected. What a waste.

Why is there no search bar or link to "My eBay" from the community pages.  I found those very helpful and I am not impressed that they were taken away.

If I wanted to see cars/trucks I would go there. Too much white space. Too much space wasted on the header area, I am here to read topics. I would like to see more post and not have to keep hitting the more button.

  1. We can no longer see who last answered a post. If answered by a knowledgeable member, I don't need to respond. If answered by the OP, then they had additional questions or info. 
  2. Can no longer tell whether staff has responded to a post.

  3. No more quick look on avatars. Now have to click open a new window to see if poster is newbie or seasoned, and then from there, still have to click listings to see if they are posting on the correct site.

There appears to be a problem with the little down arrow in the upper right corner, the one that replaces the former three horizontal dots.

 

Clicking on that down arrow and then making a selection from the drop down menu has no immediate response, there is like a 15-second delay before the selected action actually occurs.  If this is intentional the time lag I'd like to see the time lag shortened.  Any reason this could not be an immediate, click-response?

If this is Ebay's idea of a good change...they are way wrong.

 

This has me even more convinced that they are trying to get rid of them by making them even more difficult to navigate.

 

Another attempt at fixing that which was not broken.

 

Will this silliness ever stop? Do they care at all about any of us who volunteer our time to help others?

 

Me thinks not.

 

PLEASE give us back our old boards!

Going from the helpful bell to a topic........I couldn't reply to anything......."reply" is grayed out.........had to find the topic from the board and respond from it.......
