Even though the MBG by Ebay has expired, you can file a claim with Pay Pal or your credit card.
Pay Pal gives you 180 days to file a claim and so do most credit cards.

So you received something that was not as described, and you neither opened a NAD case nor left negative feedback?

The 30 day window is reasonable in my opinion. It's up to the buyer to act quickly if there is any doubt about an item's authenticity or - even better - to know what questions to ask or what to look for in the listing prior to making a purchase.

Hmm how would eBay know they be fakes if you did not upon receiving the item?? You had to send it in.....
How would ebay know if you sent YOUR fake( switched a fake for real) in for proof to get your good coin and your money back for a fake you found you owned??
See the problems with all of this"
And of course this is the reason they still are selling possible fakes....

Was this a US Coin purchase?
Make a report to the US Secret Service. They may be interesting in investigating the on-line selling of counterfeit coins. Their site talks about Notes so I am not sure about coins, but why not?

it takes 3 months for PCGS to grade coins. thats when the counterfeit was found

it was advertised as authentic

the picture of the coin on ebay and the coin that is a fake is the same. im not scamming anyone
the seller continues to sell counterfeits with no repercussions

Of course it was - but a knowledgeable buyer should know the difference even if the seller doesn't. There are thousands of products listed and advertised as "authentic" in all categories that are not authentic, and either the sellers don't care if they are wrong or are just ignorant.
The burden is always on the buyer to know in advance, or to report as "not as described" to eBay and get a refund plus enter negative feedback.

Since you're past the 30-day return window with eBay, file a chargeback with PayPal or your credit card issuer.

The majority of antiques, antiquities, and collectibles (such as coins) sold on eBay are misidentified or misrepresented, sometimes intentionally and more often innocently.
With something like 25M sellers and 1.5B listings on any given day, eBay cannot police this vast international marketplace much better than it already does.
But you are protected by eBay's 30-day MBG and, after that window closes, by PayPal or your credit card issuer.
I know it's all a hassle but it comes with the territory when you buy remotely from people unknown to you. Hope you get your money back soon!

Raw coins of any significant value should be avoided on ebay. This is particularly true for Trade Dollars, Seated Dollars and key date Morgan Dollars. Fakes of these have been pumped out in China by the thousands. Stick with graded coins if you intend to spend more than a few $.
