Why?  No harm to OP, who is long since gone.  No harm to anyone who might be looking at it for the first time, as there's no misinformation given.   No harm to you, if you stop looking at it because it bothers you.

I am ok with it. It is just that a cow will only give so much milk. You can keep milking it, but...?

When the cow is dry, we'll take our buckets and go home.

Yes, sad case, really.  Died when put in a chokehold by the New Board Police.

The New Board Police are notorious for using extreme tactics against pottery mark offenders. Caveat poster.

And a little bird told you the thread had been resurrected, somehow, and that people were being unkind to you.  But that is untrue.  We were having fun, but the fun was not at your expense.

I am sorry that no one has been able to identify the mark for you.  Since you didn't "bump" your own thread, we figured you had either identified it yourself or given up and sold it without a positive ID.

For whatever good it might do you, by the way, I was serious about the ecclesiastical angle.  It could lead you to a purpose and, from there, to a maker.

As has been suggested, you might also post this on the Pottery, Glass and Porcelain Board:

The fun was entirely at the expense of eBay (or rather Lithium) and their weird habit of promoting months-old threads,  not to mention switching threads to other boards in a successful attempt to confuse everyone.
