Question about coins

Hey everyone,

I was curious do people tend to prefer to buy roll of coins or do people prefer to buy individually? I’m new to this whole world and I’m selling my coins and it’s really confusing because the coins that you think would sell a lot. Don’t always sell but the ones that shouldn’t sell, sell for a lot.

Re: Question about coins

are you talking about your obviously put-together roll with an IHC on each end?

Re: Question about coins

That didn’t answer my question in the slightest. And second of all when you say they were put together, you are incorrect because that specific roll I bought from somebody else. So they might’ve been searched by the previous person, but I just resell them as I receive them.

Re: Question about coins

If I'm buying a coin for a collection I'm probably just buying that coin. If I see a roll that is a super deal and I can resell it for more... well sure! Back when they gave me ebay bucks I bought a roll of war nics with the money, free silver! I've bought rolls of silver proof statehood quarters for about melt on occasion. Mostly though I don't buy a lot on this site, just sell. Too many sketchy sales here 🙂

Re: Question about coins

Hola Sr. Smedley...! Heron was always overly cautious about buying a roll of coins.  The one time Heron did buy a roll of coins was from that carpenter/coin dealer guy.  That was when Heron bought a roll of 100 Pesos coins. Morelos 1978 ... .720 Silver coins.  Actually it was a roll of

100 Pesos coins of Mexico and Morelos 1978 dated.  The price was 'right' so Heron took a chanza.  Turned out A-OK.  A lucky day for sure in 1997.

Re: Question about coins

Hola Sr. Smedley...!  Heron still has about 2 or 3 of those 1978 Morelos 100 Pesos coins.  Most of the roll went for 10 to 11 Dollars for each.  That was about 28 years ago.  A fair deal at that time...
