"why did you block me"
Because I could.
And I wanted to.

It is possible that you were blocked because you messaged the seller or asked too many questions. Many sellers would prefer no communication or that if you do message them, it is too the point and not something already described within the listing.
No reason is needed to block someone, and the reason above seems to be why many do.
-Good luck

Excuse the 1st 3 replies by the 3 Stooges. Sometimes we get a bit giddy answering all of the questions thrown at us.
Had you told us what message you received, you would know the reason by now. Guessing at it, I would say that because you just signed up this morning;
1) Your registration hasn't had time to be processed in ebay's home state of California, It can take 4 hours or more for your info to be verified.
2) If you tried to bid on an item and received a message like "the seller is not accepting bids from you" it is probably because you are brand new to the site and they do not want to deal with (0) bidder/buyers.
3) If you tried to bid on or buy an expensive item, you ran into ebay's New Member Limits. You can read about them and how to get them removed by reading the link below.
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/buying-limits-restrictions/buying-limits-restrictions?id=4012
4) There is also an Open Transaction (OT) limit on new buyers account. Open transactions are items you have committed to buy but have yet to pay for. You are limited to 4 or 5 OTs you can have at any one time. That is a rolling number.
When you bid on an item or make an offer you have committed to buy if you win the auction, or have an offer accepted.
Each bid you place on an auction remains an OT until the auction ends, even if you have been out bid. That is because another bidder could retract a bid, or a seller could cancel a person's bid(s) leaving you the winner.
Offers remain open until they are accepted, declined, or time out without a response from a seller after 48 hours.
If you lose an auction, you get the number of bids you placed back to use. If you win and pay immediately the same thing happens. It can take a few hours for the info to get into ebay's computers.
The same thing happens with Offers if they are declined, or expire, also if accepted and you pay.
Because of the limit on the number of bids you can place at one time. You should read the information about Automatic bidding in the link below. Also click on the Tips for winning auctions, and when that page opens click on the Bid Sniping link, below the article.

You've just joined ebay today, and as such, many sellers are skeptical of brand new members because of the many scams perpetrated on them in that circumstance. We see a fair number posts on these boards where new members jump in with both feet and run into problems with sellers. I would advise you to read @mudshark61369 's post carefully and thoroughly, he's laid out all the scenarios that pertain to your situation.

At the risk of being labeled one of the Stooges I have a couple questions. The answers will allow us to maybe give you some specific insight without requiring you to read War and Peace.
1. When were you told you were blocked? Were you trying to purchase something with a Buy it Now or attempting to bid on an auction?
2. Had you had any contact with that seller before, even just to ask a question?
3. What did the message say that informed you that you were blocked?

You just joined today. We don't even know you, and you have not left 'red donut' reviews for your purchases since you just joined today.
If eBay kicked you off the site on another ID, this one is certainly on the chopping block as well. You are not supposed to make a 'new' one if you are banned.
Now, explain what is going on.
