scam ship to address; my item sent to a bogus address

I just experience a situation which has occurred with ebay before.  Not having any luck resolving.

I live in Massachusetts and purchased an item on 1/25.  I got a delivery confirmation yesterday and not having anything delivered to my home, I looked at the shipping detail and the item was delivered to 8550 NW 70th St., Miami, FL.   I never changed my ebay address to this address.  Ebay can clearly see I've always lived in the same town in Massachusetts.  Ebay is not offering any relief because I notified PayPal before I filed a claim with ebay.  I was told that negates the claim process.  Paypal promptly denied my claim because to them, the item was delivered (albeit to the wrong, scam address).  Ebay will not reopen the claim.  I called my bank because PayPl debited from my account and they (the bank) immediately denied my claim because the item was delivered.  This situation has occurred many times before according to the Google search I did on the Miami address.  You would think ebay would not allow the Miami address as a shipping address.   Any advice?  Anybody else have this happen to them?

I ran across your article after doing a Google search of the address 8550 NW 70th Street, Miami, FL.  Although my recent experience is different, there has to be a connection.  I purchased a purse on EBAY in late October and paid for it with Paypal. On or about November 3rd, I received an email confirming delivery of my item to this address in Miami, FL. I live in Louisiana.

I contacted the seller, EBAY, and Paypal.  The seller basically said it was my problem because EBAY gave them the address.  EBAY said the seller provided them with tracking info and the item was delivered. And Paypal said EBAY informed them the item was delivered, so Paypal also denied my claim. I've appealed with both EBAY and Paypal, suggesting they look at my purchase history since 2006 where EVERY purchase went to the same address in Louisiana. My profiles with both EBAY and Paypal both have my correct address, so How in the world did someone intercept my purchase and have EBAY and the seller mail it to this address in FL?

hello, i SOLD AN iPHONE ON EBAY TO A BUYER ADDRESSED TO 3601 CAPITAL TRAIL WILMINGTON DE.19808 WHICH EBAY KNOWS THIS IS A SCAMMERS PARADISE, SO BUYER TELLS EBAY HE WANTS TO RETURN IT, EBAY SENDS HIM A RETURN LABEL,WHICH HE DID NOT USE, WENT ON USPS MADE HIS OWN,SUPPLIED EBAY AND MYSELF W TRACKIN NUMBER HOWEVER HE USES A DIFFERENT MAILING ADDRESS WITH EBAY COMMERCE NAME , I NEVER REC'D THE PHONE, i GOT ALL THE INFO FROM USPS WITH HIS TRACK # IT SHOWS A DIFFERENT ADDRESS  I THEN SEND IT TO EBAY & THEY CLOSE THE CASE IN MY FAVOR THEN THE NEXT DAY BUYER REOPENS IT AND EBAY REFUNDS HIM,,NOW EBAY WANTS ME TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE, EBAY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND SELLERS, IVE BEEN WITH THEM FOR OVER 17YRS, I LOOK ON HERE AND ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE GETTING SCAMMED AND EBAY IS NOT STANDING BEHIND US,, IM GOING TO REPORT ALL THIS TO ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE  AND PUT PRESSURE ON THEM, THIS IS BAD BUSINESS AND SHADY. First your issue should have been posted on the Selling board not as a reply to a different topic on the Buying board.  If you scroll through the answers to this topic to the one I posted on it yesterday, you will find out how to get the info you need, to appeal ebay's decision through one of their social media sites on Facebook or Instagram.

i am on the selling board, i just want to get my issue out to others, ebay is not doing anything for me,i have spoke to a dozen of agents, can not get a supervisor, or mgr. and  not looking at my proof,  can you plz send me the info to get started on social media? I am not on face book, let me know what i need to do,, thanks,,

This is the Buying board where you have piggybacked your issue on another person's topic. You have posted the same topic on 3 other boards. Which is actually a policy violation. To find your Topics, scroll to the top of the page, in the upper right corner you will see your avatar circle with the photo of your bike in it. Click on it and select My profile. On the page that opens you can see Posts you have created and Replies you have written. This one is in replies and you will note that it it is on the Buying board.

Click on your other Post's titles, to see what advice you may already have received

To join Facebook type it into your device's browser search. You should find a sign in or register link. Fill in the required info needed to register. Once you have registered log out then use the link below to be directed directly to the ebay facebook  page.

use the blue send a message button on the page.  Write out what happened about the buyer not using the label (post the buyers username and real name if you can access the label you sent them, also the ebay item number) provided by ebay but using their own with a different address. If the messaged you through ebay's regular messages with the tracking number, ask the rep to check your messages, and check the tracking number they sent you.

You will need to get a note from the shipper on their stationary stating that the address on the label was not the one on your account and if applicable that the package type/size/weight was not appropriate for what was supposed to be sent,   I've written how to do that out earlier on this topic, follow those instructions. sign the message with your ebay username and real one. Then check back on face book for messages over the next few days or it may go to the email you entered when you registered to use Facebook.
