Hello, I like to buy small things on ebay. Recently sometimes ebay seems to be stuck in a loop. I never buy a product unless it says Paypal is an acceptable payment method. Recently, when I attempt to pay for my purchase, without fail, the second I select Paypal, it throws up a message saying ""This payment method is currently not available. Please select a different payment method."
The only other choices are as you see not really choices for me, as I do not want to take out any credit cards or similar. Then it tells me it is going to break my payment, no matter how manyitems, into (always) two purchases no matter how many items I am checking out.
What is going on? I basically cannot buy on ebay unless I can pay normally (Paypal) for my purchases.

I have the same issue. Can someone from eBay help??

Sometimes the issue is caused by having a lot of temporary internet files and cookies stored on your device. I would try searching online to see if your operating system has its own utility for clearing out the files and cookie cache. There are also some very good free utilities that work faster than the operating system's file and cache cleaner. They can be operating system specific so search online Ex: cookie cleaner for Windows 10.

Same issue for past 3 weeks. I will share in case someone else can help or has had similar experiences.
I have spoken to over 20 different agents on eBay (from Buying division, payment division and payments risk dept). . Yes, it has been a lot of wasted time.
At first, I'm told to wait 24 hour for an internal security block/risk to clear.
Intermittently, I was able to pay for a few days.
Now again, I'm unable to pay. Bank account and CC are fine. Paypal is fine. Paypal actually said this is on eBay's end.
eBay admits they have a security block, not related to me as a buyer. Quote, "there is a security risk to the buyer, seller and eBay".
Now here the catch; the seller has been on eBay for over a decade and has over 10K positive reviews.
I've been on Bay for over 12 years, have over 650 positive reviews (no negative), and always pay on time. No fraud reports created.
So, why this issue? Perhaps, because I started buying multiple items within the past 3 weeks after years of not using eBay. However, I was told there is no buying limit on my account (this has been conveyed).
Supervisors for Payment risk have told me it is beyond their control.
At one point, I was even told to find the item elsewhere....
