I purchased an item with BIN and paid via paypal. When I went back to doublecheck that I ordered the correct size, my order didn't say the size and a different size was in the listing. I requested to cancel, and as I was pushing the Enter button, the size was correct; however, the request went through.
Is there some way to reverse the cancellation request? The seller is away and won't be back for a couple weeks. I already sent a message to him.

1) I don't have any experience cancelling a cancellation request. The option might exist, and if it does then hopefully someone else will chime in to let you know how to do so.
2) I think a message to the seller should do the trick. If there are further issues, I would hope that the eBay resolution center could sort things out since both you and the seller would like to complete the transaction.
3) Is it safe to assume that you know the seller is away due to an away message? If this is the case, I recommend setting an alarm for the day before the seller returns and sending a follow up message to make sure your original message doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Additionally, I'd hope that the seller's away status protects them from any non-responsive repercussions, but if this is not the case then with your cooperation I imagine you can help reverse any negative effects on the seller.
4) As for determining the size you ordered (without having to cancel the purchase), did you check your email notifications? I haven't yet ordered anything on eBay that required me to input a size, but the multiple email confirmations you receive for a completed auction or BIN may contain this info. I know I get somwhere between one and (what seems like) three hundred emails for every item I purchase, so I'd hope this info could be found in at least one of the emails 😕

If your seller is unable to respond to your request to cancel transaction --
it will cancel itself after 3 business days.
You will get a message from eBay:
Unfortunately, we couldn't cancel your order
We're sorry to say that we couldn't cancel your order because it's too late. You should receive your order by Jan 20, 2018, and you can still contact the seller to return it after you receive it.
