how do you switch back to the old message format?

I cant CHANGE THE EBAY MESSAGES, it JUST PUT ME BACK INTO THE NEW MESSAGE SYSTEM WHAT DO I DO?? how do you switch back to the old message format?

this is so annoying it wont let me change it......????

It's no longer possible to switch back. What you do is deal with the new system and if there's something about it that does not meet your needs you click the link on the lower right of the message page and submit feedback to the product developers.

why the hell did they change it...? you can change it on mobile so why not browsers??

Well this new messaging format leaves a ton to be desired. Thanks ebay...once again, you dont address issues that should be addressed and instead change something that was working just fine.

This may or may not work for you, as devices are different, but on

- a laptop: try hovering over the email link to the message, and then right click and choose to open it your browser, not “eBay” (the app)

- a mobile device or tablet - hover over the email link and it should show you the same choice - open in your browser (such as safari), or eBay app.

This change is horrible!  I hope everyone will call eBay tomorrow and complain!  I don't have a clue why they changed the message system that worked so well, and was easy to use, like email. I don't know how to use this "messaging" system!  It's so important to be able to clearly, and easily communicate with buyers, and I cannot do that with whatever this is 😞

Checked this in all my browsers. Had no luck. Looks like its another enhancement that we didnt want, but hey what do we know?! This must be on the punch list before they recognize the Puerto Rico as a USA address.

It REALLY sucks this time. I just selected ALL messages and deleted everything, actually moved to ARCHIVE. I will not message someone or pay any attention to them henceforth. Ebay WILL continue to drive buyers away!!
