I tried to buy $650 worth of stuff today using the 15% off everything coupon. When I went to checkout, ebay only let me checkout for about $400 of the items to "make it easier for me" they said. I was not given any option or choice. Note that the 15% off coupon can only be used on one transaction, so by splitting my shopping cart into two large transactions I wasn't able to take advantage of the full discount. What is the point of advertising up $100 off when you go to checkout, ebay won't let you pay for ALL your items using the coupon?

Just made a few transactions today and it appears ebay is now splitting orders regardless of payment type used or accepted. Tested with CC, Paypal, Paypal Credit.
Hi @w0avm, I can refer you to my previous response in this thread to @spring_blossom17 for details on why this split may occur; I checked your recent transactions as well and see that a PayPal account was used, so this is why the purchases were split. If you missed out on any promotions/coupons, you can Contact Customer service to have this addressed.

Yeah, I ended up finalizing them via that method as it didn't seem to matter which one is used. Slows down the checkout process IMHO.

Thank you! That explains the issue.

And did you also know that you're wrong, @jay8904?

I canceled my cart full of items also when they started splitting the order. Another missed sale. ebay should fix this problem.
