On 2/3/23 the eBay app spontaneously started to tell me I have no exact matches, which is nonsense.
I uninstalled, reinstalled and restarted my phone. Anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix this?

Update: 3 hours later it appears resolved on its own but don’t understand what happened.

What were you searching for?
If a search that has worked well previously suddenly starts behaving badly, often the problem has something to do with a faulty keyword substitution or an inappropriate automatic category navigation issue.
You can bypass many of these sorts of issues by putting one of your keywords in quotes. This forces eBay to bypass the "smart search" features and to search for the literal keywords without any substitution or category switching. You may have to manually specify your category once again.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. It works fine on my phone but my laptop gets no exact matches. Even as something as general as Vespa or VW or anything else gets zero matches?? Something is not right....

What is the difference between your phone and your laptop? Using the same browser, same eBay account, same location to calculate shipping?
Make sure you are not using any filters left over from a previous search. Starting a new search from the main eBay page can be useful if you are having problems.
I get 130,000 results that ship to my location when using this simple search for vespa:
