That's much too open ended. A lot depends on what type of item you are purchasing....

What sort of product?     Is the seller in China?     Is the item you want ever counterfeited?

   What does your sellers feedback look like?    Are there any negatives?   If so,  what for?     Is this a new seller?    

   Does the price just seem,  "Too good to be true"  ?   Does the sellers TOS ramble on till doomsday but in the end,   really does not answer your question(s)?     Does the seller respond if you need to ask a question?

First, I look to see where the seller is located.

If I see the seller is located in a country that can't accept Pay Pal payments, I move on.

one of the great concern I have if I'm going to reieived the item that I buy at ebay as ebay shopper and whatever item I bought if the item going to be good quality what they are saying in the dispription about the ebay  products seller saying.
