I made the mistake of purchasing something i really need ASAP, then realized the seller won't be sending the item until between 22nd of March and 1st of April, i feel like i have been had, they will not respond to any messages, as i want to cancel the purchase, unless they’re going to send it out at a reasonable date, or arrange for a more suitable delivery. Now i'd be happy to leave it till then if i had a sound system here that i could use till then, the thing i got here torments me on a daily basis, by not producing any sounding then humming for the rest of the day, to get decent 5.1 surround sound out of it now, is a lottery. It feels to me like there is nothing i can do about this and will have to suffer for more months???

It turns out the only reason i'm not getting this item any sooner is because of Brexit, being that i have been opposed to Brexit (The Tory, right wing version anyway) since day one, this just bolstered my beliefs of it being a load of **bleep**. I have been offered a refund now. But it appears no matter where i get this item from, (unless it's coming from the UK) is going to take ages to arrive now.

I noticed you are located in the UK
You have posted on the US site
my understanding is that some of eBay policies are different in the UK than US SITES you might find more assistance on your home site.
I feel your pain believe me i love my music and videos but there are worse things then being without surround sound you'll make it
Count your blessings for what you have housing? food? good health ? rather then what you will get eventually
Also wasn't there a estimated delivery date displayed in the listing?

On every listing is an estimated delivery time frame, and you should have checked that first if you want the item faster. 22, March - 1, April probably means your item is shipping from China, even if the seller is listed as Registered as a business seller in the UK, so hopefully the quality of the equipment is OK.
Have you checked the connections to your surround sound system? A humming sound often means that a ground wire is loose or not hooked up. If your system is plugged into a power strip with other things plugged in as well, the humming could be coming from another device plugged into the strip. The strip may also be wearing out, they can do that.

Oh the inhumanity! You poor thing!
No, really, you should have paid attention to the shipping and handling time BEFORE you clicked to buy

Frankly, I do not see where you should get the feeling of being had, as you put it. You should have checked the listing before placing your order for the estimated delivery date. Not doing so would, in my opinion, place the ball in your court, so to speak.
Ordinarily, I wouldn't recommend ordering something that you need ASAP online unless it is from somewhere that offers overnight delivery and even then I would suggest checking with them first before placing such an order.

So you are blaming eBay and the seller for the political actions of your government! Good grief!

The seller told me it was because of Brexit, that this whole problem has arisen because of it, of course i did not know this at the time of making the post, now just stop being an idiot. If you’re not gonna help people, why you even here?

Sometimes pointing out to a person how unreasonable their attitude is is helpful. However, in your case, I'm guessing that it is not.
