I would have to say that probably more than half of the sellers on eBay are lying about their real location. I have to click on 3 separate links to find what country they operate out of. Ebay, you should force all sellers to disclose their real location. I think I am done with eBay after being here for so many years.

You should always look at their feedback profile and read the comments before you buy. On that page you will see what country they're in.

There appears some lack of familiarity with ethical business practices.

The only sellers that don't disclose where there items truly originate are those whose feedback shows they registered in anther country and state in their listings they ship from somewhere in the US. Those are good indicators that they are drop shipping.
Looking at feedback doesn't require clicking on multiple links. Just one.

Where are you looking?
It only takes me one right click to find a member’s country of registration.

You don't. About This Seller tells you country of origin.

@Anonymous,
To get to a seller's feedback profile is still just one button away, but that button is now near the bottom of a listing page below where the seller's username is shown in a larger font, in an oval with See all feedback in it.
As for country of registration, some foreign sellers registered in the U.S. but drop ship from other countries or U.S. based warehouses owned by foreign nationals. They usually use American flag symbols and state U.S. seller on their listings. Some high volume sellers you do not even have to bother checking their feedback profile if their percentage is below 98.6%, like the 2nd one down on your profile page.

"I would have to say that probably more than half of the sellers on eBay are lying about their real location. "
Got a link for that? That means that fifteen million sellers are lying about their location.
