It used to be that when you added something to your watchlist, there would be a note at the top of the item that said "added to watchlist" or something like that.
Now I add to watchlist and that note isn't there. I find that bothersome as that is an indicator that I DO have it on my watchlist. Now it's Do I? Don't I? And If I click on Add to List, of course add to watchlist isn't there, but I shouldn't have to click on that each time to see if the item I'm currently looking at is on my watchlist already or not.
Doesn't anyone else find this bothersome or am I in the minority?
Also does anyone know why/when they changed this? I couldn't find anything on it.

Maybe i am not understanding exactly what you are trying to say but i will try. I am assuming that you are speaking of watching items generically not adding to any saved watchlists.
If your looking to add something to your watchlist, there is a heart that you can highlight that will show if you are watching it or not. (Visual marker) The photo below will indicate where the "Heart" icon is that you need to click on. Sorry for the 3rd grade graphics. 😂

No, I'm talking about actually adding an item to your watchlist.
The heart, I think, has been there for a while but it used to be that right above the pictures of the item it would actually say "Added to Watchlist" or Now on watchlist" or something like that. For the heart, it was my understanding that you are just adding it to "favorites" but that isn't the same as your watchlist.

I may be wrong but i am pretty sure the "Heart" icon dumps into your watchlist. I add items all of the time to my watchlist and i only select the "Heart" icon to accomplish that. Now if you want to add it to a specific list (watchlist folder), i don't know/think that is possible. Try "Hearting" and item and go to your watchlist to see if it has been added.
