What to do with China orders?

I used to buy small stuff (accessories, rare cables for electronics etc) from China and usually it was a good experience with 90% of items getting within a month and being close to their description.

However this year... I ordered a few items in August, September and October.  Guess how many have I received so far? None...  I stopped buying from China since then (filter for only US-based sellers), but Ebay does not allow to cancel / feedback or refund the placed but never fulfilled Chinese orders.  Guess, I can only archive and forget about them?

Re: What to do with China orders?

Umm if it’s been that long and your items from China haven’t arrived (mine usually take 4-6 weeks) you can go into help & contact question and request a refund. eBay 99% of the time sides with buyers so you can and will get your money back if your willing take 15 mins and request a refund. eBay will give the seller 3-4 days to respond to give them chance to make it right (they never do) then on first possible date eBay gives you so you can ask them to step in, ask them ASAP and include as much info and evidence as possible!  I never not gotten my money in the many situations similar to your ive been involved during my time on eBay.

Re: What to do with China orders?

Where do you get your information about what eBay allows in regard to orders not received?

Have you read eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers?

If/when a buyer has not received his purchase within a few days of its last estimated delivery date, he can/should open an item not received case in the Resolution Center.  This rules applies to ALL eBay sales, China, US, anywhere.

You have 30 days to open a case with eBay.  If you paid with Paypal, they give 180 days to open a case.  Your credit card probably gives a similar time line.

You need to go back to those items you never received in your Purchase History and open cases.

PLEASE READ THE MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.

No.

The Resolution Centre is at the bottom of this page.

If your item has not arrived by the last estimated date eBay gave you, you can open a Not Received dispute and if the seller cannot prove Delivery (not shipping , delivery) you will be refunded.

But you only have 30 days  from the deadline to make the Dispute.

You might still be able to open a Dispute for the October order.

Paypal allows you 180 days from Payment for an Item Not Received dispute.

You can still open Disputes for all those missing shipments.

The PP Resolution Centre is at the top of your PP account page under Tools.

If the seller cannot prove Delivery (not shipping , delivery) you will be refunded.

Start with the October order and on eBay. Then* move on to Paypal.

You may also be covered by the credit card you back your PP dispute with.

The first suggestion is to contact the seller, but this is rarely useful with Chinese sellers. Not because they are scamming, but mostly because of language and cultural differences.

The items may show up in the New Year. Chinese shipping has been disrupted even more than most nations.

*If you lose an eBay dispute, you can move on to PP. But if you lose a PP dispute, eBay will not allow a dispute.
If you lose a credit card dispute, neither PP nor eBay will allow a dispute.
