Unable to type message in Contact Seller message Box

I've been trying to contact a seller regarding an item they are selling.  I need a couple of other details.  I click on the contact seller on the listing page, I am taken to the page where I can leave my questions but every time I begin to type my question in the message box, I get one word typed in and the message screen clears. Never ever experienced this before.  Any ideas what might be going on?

I've been able to send messages to other sellers with no problem. I'll try a cold reboot anyway. Thx!

If doing a reboot does not work try clearing your temp internet files and cookie cache, then restart your computer.  If you use Chrome try another browser.  Since this could be caused by ebay making changes to the site, try opening the seller's feedback profile and use the contact seller button there.
