You are currently in the Community in eBay.com.
Which website are you on for the Item?
If all you see is pounds sterling then you are not logged into eBay.com.
You maybe on ebay.co.uk viewing the item.
If you cant see the item on eBay.com then that seller doesn't ship to US.

Maybe it's different in the States but when I do a search, under customise there is a tick box for converting prices to your currency.

well I am on ebay.com, everything that I search for doesn't have GBP, but the three-headed monitors that I and looking at has GBP

I am seeing it in both GBP and USD, but if i buy ( which i haven yet but wanted to see how much it costs) is shows in GBP. not USD

where can i find it, that might be useful

that should help me with getting rid of the GBP so I can see the actual price

would you guys like the link for the triple headed monitors, I found three good ones but the have GBP

If you say you see the USD price as well as GSP, then price you see in USD IS the price you'll pay. You should also see shipping in USD as well.

When international sellers list on ebay.com they have the option of listing and being paid in their currency. What you see below the GBP amount is the approximate USD conversion. If you purchase, your USD payment will be converted into GBP to pay the seller. So the final USD amount you pay will depend on the exchange rate tables used by your payment source at the minute the payment is processed. It also may have conversion fees added by your payment source. So it's not going to be exactly what's shown in the listing.

well. the main thing it shows is GBP and underneath the tiny label shows the price in US dollars. but if i order it, it either shows the shipping price, and product, and total cost in pounds or it says it doesn't ship it to the US Pd

so if i buy a product like the triple monitor that has GBP. it will convert my USD to GBP in a different country

So can I technically buy my product price that shows GBP and it will instantly convert my USD to GBP, but why can't it transfer my product to the USA in PA

I'm not sure what you mean by "transfer my product to the US in PA". But the seller lives in the UK, so they want to be paid in their home currency. You will be bidding in GBP, so you'll need to do a conversion to figure out what the USD amount you want to bid is in GBP. If you win, your payment processor will take whatever amount of USD is necessary to cover your GBP bid at the current conversion rate, plus whatever conversion fees they charge. The only way around that is to find the item from a US seller.
