So Tired of eBay's Endless Repeating Listings When Searching For Specific Items

I am so sick of having to go through repeated listings when searching for a specific item on eBay. I have sold on eBay and bought items for years. However, it is increasing more frustrating to buy something when I have to go through listings that I have filtered specifically and have a never ending amount of pages to search through. I figured out that they keep repeating/looping the listings. It really makes me not want to shop on here anymore. I don't 50 hours to look for something and never am sure when the actual end of the filtered listings occurs.

I was searching for an item the other day and all that come up was two pages of the same item coming from China and it wasn't even close to what I was searching for.

I wish Ebay would get the search function fixed.

Their new gimmick is selling "promoted" listings and those do show up multiple times. Sometimes multiple times on the same page. It is very annoying. You're not imagining it.

I would suggest that EBay undertake corrective action, & review policies in order to foster a more favorable perception of the marketplace .

when i run into this, i just go to another site where i can actually find the item. my purchases are at about 10% compaired to what i used to buy here. will not be christmas shopping on ebay, i need items on time!

I've seen listing pop up in the same place, no matter how many consecutive pages I search, and it is annoying.

I search by newly listed as it is easier to keep track of what you have seen previously that way.

No, as far as I can tell they randomly repeat things even before stuff you haven't seen yet. I nearly always use newly listed.

Yes I seriously hate this and it makes me want the promotes item less   And usually frustrates me to the point where I give up trying to find what I want and shop elsewhere.  Genius eBay genius.

Are you using the minus sign to filter out unwanted listings? For example, when searching for Alice White movies on DVD, I don't want to see Alice in Wonderland movies, Snow White movies, or Alice Nine videos. So I type this:

alice white dvd -wonderland -snow -nine

I have noticed that the repeating is getting worse. 

Very frustating!
