Buyers, be aware, that many items listed as a "snowflake" are not really snowflakes. A snowflake has 6 points. Many of the items listed are actually stars, with 5 points. Some have 8 points--I don't know what this shape is, but it isn't a snowflake. I forgot to check on a purchase of napkins and it turned out that the embroidered "thing" that was advertised as a snowflake, turned out to actually be a star. It was even labeled that way on the package in which it came and the seller made the mistake of just copying the package into her listing. When I notified her of the mistake, she apologized but did not offer a refund/return and did not change her listing.

Ummm there is a big difference, guys.
Snowflakes are a Winter symbol, while Stars, particularly at this time of year are a religious, basically Christian, symbol.
An observant Jewish or Muslim family might find stars objectionable, as would some atheists. And Christian families probably would find snowflakes acceptable.
Snowflakes don't have religious connotations.

Actually, if it's not made from snow, it's not a snowflake, so you really shouldn't be buying anything that says snowflake unless it's made from snow.

people receive items all the time that are not as described. They file item not as described claims. No real need to make a post about specific items not being as described.
Also, a snowflake is a sensitive person and a data warehouse company.... which are also not 6 sided.

I have just filed an INAD case. I ordered a hundred snowflakes, after being assured by the seller that each had six points. However, when I opened the box I received, there was nothing inside but a small damp spot.
I should have known better, because not long ago I ordered a mouse and instead of a proper specimen of Mus musculus, I received a creature wearing white gloves, red shorts, and yellow shoes,

Granted, but still the boards are filled, from morning until night, with INAD posts.

I am constantly surprised that Customer Service does not tell unhappy buyers how to open a Not As Described dispute. Nor do they tell sellers how to open and respond to Not Received disputes.
You'd think they would like to get the customer off the phone and doing the job themselves.
Perhaps by deflecting the customer to useless actions (talk to the other person) instead of functional ones (open the dispute right now) they think they will save money.
Even at minimum wage (which is 23c a minute where I live) this has to be a poor allocation of resources.

A buyer purchasing a crystal snowfkake, snowflake ornaments, towels embroidered with snowflakes, and other items embellished or decorated with snowflakes should be looking at the picture of what they're buying. If they don't think it depicts a snowflake don't buy it and then later complain it's not as described.
