Sellers constantly forget to add VOEC code for tax paid, so customs charge me AGAIN (x2)

I have had 6-7 cases the last 4 months where sellers from EU forget (or simply do not know they need to) adding VOEC code for paid tax, which ebay charges from us buyers when we pay for our purchases.

What happens when it comes to Norwegian border is that customs charge AGAIN 25% sales tax on the whole amount (item price + shipping costs) AGAIN, something I have already paid.

Why can't EBAY inform the sellers that they need to add this code to the package when shipping?

I mean EBAY already get comission from Norwegian Customs for doing the service charging the 25% tax, so why can't they hold up their end of the deal? It all seems like a huge scam.

Tempting to just give seller negative feedback automatically, but knowing EBAY does nothing but earn money on both sellers and buyers + customs for each country (in this case Norway) it makes me so mad over the whole thing.

This is surely one of the things that makes me consider just quit ebay and delete my account for good. I mean facebook and other sites have started to take over more and more the recent years. It's tempting to just cut the cord and don't look back... It's yet another EBAY SCAM!

I think your best option is to add "VOEC 2024926" your delivery address for eBay purchases.
