I bought over $1800 worth of items from a seller. They never shipped the item and now their account no longer exists. I want a full refund ASAP! But eBay has no way to contact them to resolve the issue without waiting weeks for the non existent seller to respond to my cancel item request. How do I contact eBay and get my money back NOW!?

After digging through links in customer service I was able to find a chat window. That allowed me to ask for a human and they called me. They issued a refund and everything is great. Thank you everyone who tried to help.

In most cases when a seller has been removed by eBay, you don't have to wait for the delivery date to pass. Pull up the item under purchases and file an item not received case. Warning, do not do that if tracking shows delivered. In that case come back here and let us know.

First of all, you need to file an "ITEM NOT RECIEVED" on the purchase. You should not have done a "cancel item", that will make the wait longer. Try contacting them through their Facebook page, you have to message them and they will ask you for the info.

Thanks for the response, But that is not one of the options that pulls up. I really just need to talk to someone at eBay to fix this issue. I need a chat or phone number to call.

I did the cancel request before their account disappeared. Item not received is not an option. I just need to talk to someone at eBay.

There is no 'ASAP' for refunds...you will just have to wait it out now.
Customer service can't really do anything other than chit-chat.
Should have done an 'items not received' one day after estimated date of arrival.

That link is worthless. Just goes round and round and you never get to anywhere with a phone number, Chat, or Email to contact anyone at eBay. Just gives you links to message the seller. Which no longer exists. Thanks though.

In the time it took you to get snarky with people who are just trying to help you could have read up on eBay's Money Back Guarantee. While sometimes the option to open an item not received case will appear as soon as a seller is NARU'ed, you may have to wait until the day after the last estimated delivery date to open a case. The process is completely automated and is certainly more reliable than customer service, who are generally ill-informed and basically worthless.
