Seller hasn’t shipped item yet and it is over the handling time that they posted

Hello, 

I bought an item on March 16th and it said the estimated delivery date would be April 7th. The next day I got a message that it shipped, but it hadn’t moved for a around 5 days. I messaged the seller to ask about it, and they were kinda rude that they had a 15 day handling time, but due to getting an email that it shipped I thought they were just able to ship out earlier. I waited over the 15 days due to the sellers attitude, and they said that it was getting shipped to them from Prague. I was hoping to get the shoes by the seventh because I’m moving soon, I do want the shoes still, but I’m at a loss for what to do next as this is the longest I’ve had to wait to have something shipped to me from eBay. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Normally, if you have not recevied your item 24 hours after the estimated delivery date (on your original order) you can claim Item Not Recieved then.

Or you may be able to claim earlier depending on the circumstance - Was the listing clear about the item coming fromPrague? or has this been advised later ?

If the listing shows a U.S. item location, but the seller actually ships from another country, you can open a Return case before it even arrives to you, for "Item location misrepresentation" under "not as described".

If you have tracking showing it's coming from another country, eBay will refund you in full without requiring a return.

Thank you for the reply. The seller disclosed that it was coming from Prague in the message they sent to me after I asked about why the package hasn’t moved even though it’s been marked as shipped. I didn’t know that about that.

Why not just wait and open an item not received case on April 8th or 9th if you do not have your purchase by then?

I told the seller that I was moving and that’s why I was bugging a bit to make sure the item came in on time. I still want the shoes, I just want to know what options I have if the seller doesn’t ship them yet and I’ve moved, and she doesn’t answer my message. Thanks for the reply.

As I mentioned earlier, if the last estimated delivery date is April 7th, you can open an INR case if you've not received them by the 8th.

And don't you plan on leaving a forwarding order at your local PO when you move so that all of your mail gets to you at your new address?
