See the screenshot of my order, I ordered 2 but only received 1. Having trouble getting the seller to understand that he or she only sent one of the items and not 2. Have pleaded to get the missing item sent or a partial refund with no solution but I lost my money.
Even contacted eBay, open item not received and by the seller providing tracking showing delivered of just 1, eBay automatically gives me only two options to continue pleading with the seller or close the case. I do won't do either, would like a partial refund for the missing item or ship the missing item. Any buyer would like the full quality they paid for.
To me with eBay settings, this is the perfect opportunity for sellers to cheat buyers that need to be addressed.
The process of this order and complaint is a nightmare. I guess need to feel fortunate enough, that it is not hundreds of dollars spent on missing items.

hello..
firstly try to contact seller, then ask the return item and refund money. when he was cheating, you can open a case through ebay help.

Thank you, have spoken with an agent about this problem and am currently heading out of town for a business trip. I would not be able to return the item for at least 5 days, so the agent said to communicate with the seller through the case. This is not helping, the seller, refusing to acknowledge the sale of 2. Would gladly return the item for a full refund, I hope in 4 more days I can still start the return process. Just a little disappointed in searching through eBay to find an item I like and get cheated like this! Have a Blessed day!

You actually could have indicated the missing quantity not received in your refund request.

And after eBay closes/you yourself close the refund request with no refund @mywholesalemart you can still start a return request by clicking Return this item.
This time, indicate the missing quantity you are returning using the "Missing item or parts" reason. Click SHOW MORE to see the full list of reasons.
You have 30 DAYS FROM ACTUAL DELIVERY to start a return request, despite the intervening refund request. And when you print the return label to return the missing item, you have 10 BUSINESS DAYS (which is 14 or more days) to mail the label (if your seller still doesn't understand that the item is missing) for a refund of that item.

How much time are buyers given to ship returned items?
When buyers are sent an eBay-generated return label, the return is closed if the label is not printed within 10 business days.
So after you start the return request following your trip, if you still don't have a partial refund or a return label within 3 business days, come back and click Ask eBay to step in, to take action.

This just happened to me too. Ordered 2 two pack of lamps and sellers only shipped half of the order. Small price order total roughly $44, but my whole eBay value was destroyed by this causing me to pay twice what was advertised. Seller gave me several go do actions to buy her time. Finally, contacted eBay and immediate response back was she delivered your order and here is your proof the item was delivered. No recourse after this so I left what I rarely have done over 25 years on eBay with negative feedback. This was an easy solution on Amazon, but not eBay still hip with the fraudster hipsters.

You should have filed a claim for "Not as described" rather than "Not received."

You're not inexperienced here, so have to ask: Did you open an item not received case (incorrect, because you did receive something), instead of an item not as described case (expected to receive two, only got one)?

I noticed it, and reported the necro thread. Any post that starts with "This happened to me too" is a red flag. But figured that I might as well respond to the hijacker, too.
