Saved search email items bafflingly unrelated at all. WHY?

I used to love saved search emails for finding the exact items I'm wanting to buy but my latest search is giving me totally unrelated items. WHY? is this a setting or something that changed?

The email even says something like, we didn't find anything so we sent this instead.

Ebay junk mail is what it amounts too, bait and switch. How is a ceramic mug related to a hat? Its a daily email too.

There was a change made a while ago that messed up many saved searches. eBay also just recently consolidated/changed several categories which also killed peoples saved searches. You may want to try deleting and recreating yours.

Probably because of unintelligent decisions made by eBay's artificial intelligence or maybe it is trying to protect you from your own destructive tendencies.  After all, V.I.C.K.Y.'s logic is undeniable. 😉

My old searches are fine. This was a new search I made a week ago.
