STAY ALERT FOR USER!!!!! with ZERO RECENT FEEDBACK
I purchased a Asus 2080TI from him for $900 . By the next day he had cancelled the item number and erased it from ebay so that it didn't exist anymore so now he could get quicker access to the money without having to wait for feedback or anything to release the money, since he deleted the item from ebay , it didn't technically exist anymore now.
I couldn't even leave a negative feedback for instance since the item number doesn't exist anymore. He just took my money , cancelled and erased the item number from ebay, and screwed me over . I didn't even know such a thing was possible until now.
I paid thru paypal and purchased with paypal credit so I thought for sure they would help. NOOOOPPPEEEE!!!
They said sorry we can't help you, contact ebay.
Ebay says wait 3 business days until seller responds and then they might think about doing something. R u serious? Seller is not going to repsond.... HE'S A SCAMMER!!
Ebay even wrote me the day after the purchase saying ... O we think u were involved in some type of scam, contact us....... Now wait 3 days for them to respond? Obviously he ain't gonna respond.
Thought I would write all this stuff somewhere for ppl to read and be wary of purchases on ebay. Paypal doesn't do jack if anything happens on ebay even if u use their **bleep** credit. Ebay won't do anything until the guy is already long gone. All this is completely a joke . Since scamming seems to be so easy, I might start looking into it too now, pass the baton as they say to the next poor soul. That's what lesson PayPal and Ebay are basically telling me from this whole experience .

No I won't . That's not me. I got too much of a good heart to do that.
Just saying tho the guy did everything online and should be so easy to catch him or stop the money or trace it thru servers or something but paypal and ebay just won't help. Can't believe it's possible to do that.

Mostly just said that out of frustration with paypal and ebay not taking immediate action and me losing 900 dollars but not the end of the world.
Just be wary and go check out his profile even. No recent feedback and I literally just made a purchase with him and don't have the ability to leave a negative feedback to warn ppl since the item number is non existent anymore.

It's against policy to name and shame. The seller isn't here it defend or clarify. For all you know the person you're accusing got his account hijacked. Zero recent feedback means it was a dormant account. The account owner may not be guilty of anything.
If the item is no longer on eBay it is because eBay removed it. To protect the seller they may temporarily suspend their account as well until it's sorted.
When you bought the item it had a delivery date. Do you remember that date? No complaint can't be made until after the delivery date has passed. It is a rule that applies to all transactions. It protects sellers that do ship from having cases being opened before the buyer has had time to receive the item.
So you'll have to wait until after the delivery date. If you still aren't able to open the case at that time then you go to PayPal's Resolution Center (paypal.com/disputes/) and let them know the item was (and seller) was removed.

Recontact eBay after the appropriate time indicated has elapsed.

Get a hold of eBay by phone till they help you. eBay must have deleted the item, a seller can't do that.

Well a Case being Opened was made available immediately since ebay themselves recognized suspicious activity. I didn't have to wait for anything for me to open up a case with the Res Center. Opened one up with paypal and ebay. Paypal closed the case saying they can't help since it happened on ebay and ebay is now investigating it but it won't be any good since the dude is a scammer.
I didn't have to wait for anything tho to open a case is what I'm saying and already went thru one thru payapl.
Just trying to warn ppl , not trying to upset u or anyone else.
And ebays polices r a joke and which is why I'm not dealing with them anymore and don't care about sharing a scammers info.

eBay may close the case in the sellers favor because you opened one on PayPal first

I'm gonna try to , thanks for your concern. It's under investigation as we speak so gonna give ebay benefit of the doubt and wait to see if they can resolve it.
I'll update after 3 business days

You bought from a hijacker, @dneamtu This has nothing to do with the actual eBay account holder. Just wait the 3 business days, then CLICK ASK EBAY TO STEP ASIDE (it's not automatic), and you'll have your refund a few minutes later.

Good that you were able to open a case. eBay doesn't let you open a case until after the expected delivery date so it must have passed. And once a case is opened the seller is given 3 days to respond before eBay will let you escalate the case. It doesn't matter that you and eBay think it's a scam, it's just how cases work. In the UK you have to wait 8 days before you can escalate the case.
Why were you opening a case on both PayPal and eBay? You can only have one case opened. You open it on eBay first. Then if eBay is unable to get a refund and it closes with no refund then you open the case on PayPal.

Ask Ebay to step in, not 'STEP ASIDE'.......
