SCAM ALERT

Just wanted to give everybody a heads up about ebay scam seller

This seller knows ebay allows scammers to scam very easily and he is taking full advantage.  Contacted ebay and they said nothing they could do LOL.  Ebay gets worse and worse by the day.  Ebay is basically the new age silkroad.  All kinds of illegal stuff listed that paid for and never delivered.  And absolutely no overhead or real staff just over seas scammers making a profit from scams

Re: SCAM ALERT

Your heads up will be in vain. Community guidelines prohibit "naming and shaming" other members. You can expect the seller's name to be edited from your post.

Re: SCAM ALERT

With a feedback rating of 94%, I would not even look at their items let alone purchase from them.

Re: SCAM ALERT

It's important to look at the number of feedbacks in addition to the percentage. In this case it was 3 out of 57, including the OP's neg. That's not nearly as egregious as a seller with 10,000 feedbacks having a 94%.

Re: SCAM ALERT

True but I'll just be using az for all my purchases now.  They're not hanging on by a thread like ebay and desperately trying to keep sales commissions at any cost.

funny how "naming and shaming" is not allowed but its complete acceptable receive payments for a product and never deliver.

Re: SCAM ALERT

I've been on eBay since 1996, and I wish I had a dollar for every time someone has proclaimed that eBay is hanging on by a thread in that time. You're perfectly free to shop elsewhere, but don't think that eBay will collapse without you.

Re: SCAM ALERT

It didn’t take long for the seller to go from a “Very knowledgeable seller and quick to help” to a scammer.

Re: SCAM ALERT

EBay made money this year. AZ lost money this year, and usually does.  They fall into the "too big to fail" category.

When your item was not delivered you had 30 days to file a Dispute with eBay.

Did you?

The seller would be required to give Proof of Delivery  or refund you.

If you somehow lost that Dispute, you have up to 180 days to file a chargeback on the credit card you actually paid with. The 1-800 number on the card or your monthly invoice is where you would start.

Have you done that?

Going by the OP's feedback left it appears the item in question was a website, which isn't covered by the MBG.

Did you not notice that the item was not covered by the MBG?

Have a great day.

@badassbugs1

Do you accept any responsibility for not having read the listing and not having seen the protection you would or would not have?

Re: SCAM ALERT

If you follow the MBG rules , you open an item NOT received case a few days after the expected delivery and the seller is forced to deliver or refund.  SInce 1998, I have yet to lose a penny as a buyer.  Every seller that tried to scam me or my 2 sons, had to refund.  I have 2 other Ebay accounts so don't judge me by the 35 feedbacks.

Also your warning is useless because how does Ebay know that you are not lying? Imagine if I called ebay and said that you were a scammer?    Anyway, if every buyer that did not get something from this seller opened an item NOT received case, after a few of those cases, Ebay will suspend or terminate that bad seller.   Of course, if they are based in China, in minutes they will be back online scamming since IP address are kept private for Chinese citizens allowing them to scam as much as they want.   In those cases, the best that you can do is to make sure that your seller is not in China.  Goodluck in your future purchases.
