I've never used the Discussions portion of ebay. I've recently had an issue with a seller removing feedback that I left for them. Purchase was for a winter pool cover. Yes it was neutral and not Positive,"Not a quality cover" is exactly what I wrote for feedback. The seller emailed me the next day asking why the feedback. I explained that the cover had already separated and I wasn't happy about it. I was asked to send pictures which I did and was offered a replacement cover if I removed my feedback. I declined. Yesterday I noticed that the neutral feedback I left for them is gone? What can I do about this?

Apparently he convinced someone in customer service to remove it.
You do realize that he doesn't MAKE the cover, he just sells it.
If someone bought a Titanic DVD from you, then left you a neutral because he didn't like the movie, would that be ok with you?
Also just curious, why wouldn't you give him the opportunity to make it right?

There is really nothing you can do.
The seller did not remove the feedback, eBay did.

The seller offered a replacement in exchange for feedback removal, which is against eBay policy.

You can't do anything about it. Certain large sellers have options in getting eBay to remove negative/neutral feedback from their accounts. eBay does it, not the seller. We small sellers who try to help here on the boards do not know how it happens. And we agree with you, it is wrong.
Regarding your pool cover, you should open a Not As Described claim with eBay (if it has been less than 30 days since delivery). The seller will have to send you a return label or else the money for you to buy one (if the seller is from another country). Then you send the pool cover back and get a refund.
If it is past the 30 days, you can file with Paypal, if that is how you paid, but you will have to pay the return shipping with them.
You may also have recourse with your credit card company if it was the source of your payment.

True. The fact that the seller is wanting to make it right is a good sign though. I wonder if the buyer let the seller know there was a problem before leaving that feedback?

Sellers who offer free returns have the ability to have negative or neutral feedback removed.

So do sellers who don't offer free returns. Depends on the feedback and/or reason for the feedback.

Lol...sellers regardless whether or not they offer free returns have the ability to have negs removed .Know from first hand experience
It is highly likely this buyer's FB was removed because they left FB on the product, not on the seller or the listing, but on the quality of the product. That is against the FB rules.
But you are right in certain cases sellers that have free returns or are TRS with a 30 day return policy can get some negs and neutrals removed under their Seller Protection.
The seller on what the OP bought wouldn't have had those protections available to them as a return was not part of the OPs process. This one is highly likely to be because they left a product review.
