Received feedback is gone

Being a LONGTIME member I had  thousands of positive feedback, all gone. Now I can LEAVE feedback but I have no idea if the seller did... so I leave nothing.

Ebay, you screwed up.

I'm not clear what the issue is. When I go to your feedback page I see that you've received 2,921 feedbacks, 21 of those in the past month. I can see and read all of them. So I don't understand what's gone.

In my PURCHASES page I no longer see WHO left feedback.

Does your page still show it>

If you don't see it in one place, look in another...your feedback profile.

Yes, eBay changed Purchase History. Honestly I couldn't tell you if it shows who left feedback. I leave feedback for sellers once I receive my widget and it's as described. I really don't care if the seller leaves me feedback.

Doesn't it make you wonder why eBay     takes time with something like this and leave so many glitches and requests that sellers  for untouched?

And now it's multiple clicks to get ALL feedback. Maybe that had an excuse...to make it less likely

for buyers that think  92%  is great to see the negs

Are you aware that feedback (for both buyers and sellers) is optional? No one is required to leave feedback.

But for the last 14 years, feedback for buyers is useless since buyers can only receive positive feedback. As such, many sellers don't bother leaving feedback for buyers.

Other sellers leave feedback for buyers after the buyer leaves feedback for them since a seller's positive feedback indicates that the buyer is satisfied. The seller may not want to leave feedback before they know they have a happy buyer.

It's still there.  I never looked at my feedback in any of my 3 accounts from the page that you mention. I look at my feedback by clicking the number next to the ID.  Anyway, you have been here a long time. You know that ebay is constantly changing things to make it more "challenging" for it's users.    Think of it as a way of Ebay making you use your brain to get an answer.   Let 's see what change they will do next month.

Check the Orders section of your Summary page to see if you see the feedback icons for your purchases there.

@eburtonlab,

Thanks for the tip. That has the same format as the now-messed-up purchase history page used to have.

That's great, as long as it lasts. With eBay's past history, they just forgot to change it too when they messed up the purchase history page.

My eBay - Summary  scroll down a bit, then click on Orders (when the link shows up).

I don’t care if sellers leave me feedback either.

When I do an online review of a trip to Olive Garden or Kohl’s I don’t expect them to leave me a glowing review of what a wonderful customer I was and how I paid on time at the cash register. 😐

Of course it’s nice to be thanked and appreciated but for me that comes in the form of shipping my purchase quickly and making sure it was fairly and correctly described.

A note of thanks on the invoice is a nice touch but not necessary and wouldn’t prevent me from buying from that seller again if I felt they were honest and had something I wanted.
