Received an empty package

I reported that I didn't receive an item,  because what I received was an empty envelope.  The Seller has gone dark and hasn't responded in 5 days.  eBay sees a delivery date and assumes that the item was received by me.  I reported that the envelope was empty but apparently no one reads these things.

Correct.........  the bots can not read beyond how they are programmed to read.

Your item shows delivery, so an INR will fail.

You need to open a "return request" for "item not as described".... "missing parts or pieces".

Open a return for 'not as described'. If it asks for a picture, you can take a picture of the package with nothing in it. When you get the shipping label (which will be given to you); stick it on whatever you received and ship it back. When 'tracking' shows it was delivered, seller has 48hrs to refund you. If they don't; you can 'escalate' and ebay will 'force' a refund and you will be made whole.

Sorry -- what you opened was the wrong kind of case.

You did receive something; however, it was not as described.

What you needed to open was an item not as described case.

Not sure whether or not eBay would allow you now to open an NAD case, but you can try.

If you can't, you can usually open an NAD case with Paypal, if that's how you paid.

Or do a chargeback on your credit card.

A NAD case can be opened after an INR case has closed.

Open the item not as described case.   Take a photo of the empty envelop.  Follow the prompts. You will have to respond to the case in a few days. Escalate it  when it's time.    You will get your money back.  AFTER you get your money back,  see if you can post a negative.  Copy exactly what I write in red.  

Seller shipped an empty package!  Avoid this scammer.       Do NOT mention that you got a refund or that ebay helped.  Leave the comment just like I wrote.  This will scare away future buyers.
