I will make this short. I purchased an item and it was never delivered. I reached out to the Seller, and they were not at all helpful. They told me to go to the PO , in person, and file a claim. I am located on the west coast, far from where the package was delivered, so this was impossible!!! The seller did nothing to help me. My daughter went down to the mailroom as soon as we were told it was delivered… it never was there ( she looked for weeks). I was forced to pay for an item that was not delivered properly… and I have a letter of apology from the USPS on my item never being received. eBay and the seller let me down… and I will never do business with either of them again Beware!
I wonder how long my post will be left up??? eBay would not let me do a review on the seller, and since I paid for the item I should have been allowed. So now, the seller shows a 100% positive feedback, which is not true!! I wonder how many other reviews were not allowed. So sad and dishonest in my opinion. Terrible customer services by eBay and the seller!!!!!!!

What did the tracking say? Does it report it was delivered?

All you have to do is leave a private message here and tell eBay to look at the zip codes, like this:
As eBay explains @pambo_3805 if the delivery zip code and your order zip code don't match, you'll get your refund.

I was told it was supposedly delivered...but it apparently was not delivered to the right place. The USPS actually sent me a letter of apology...however, I still had to pay for something, a gift, that was never received. And the seller was not at all helpful!!! I will never buy from them again...and I would strongly NOT recommend them!

They said it matched and was delivered. But, the package was obviously never delivered to the correct location! My daughter went right down to the mail room and looked for it, it was not there. And she looked for weeks after. The package never was found.

"... They told me to go to the PO , in person, and file a claim. I am located on the west coast, far from where the package was delivered, so this was impossible!!!".
Does the tracking number show that the item was delivered to a different address / zip code than yours? If that was the case did you file an Item Not Received (INR) dispute through ebay? If you did and it was turned down, in the message you received telling you that, there was an Appeal button.
You could have posted the tracking number to the appeal and/or a saved screen shot of the delivery address or zip code, and a refund would have been issued, once the rep saw that.
You can go to any P.O. to get information about tracking. Getting that info in writing is the best way to go, but you cannot ask for specific label information, Address or Package type/size/weight.
If you open the link below and click on the Go To Best Answer button there are instructions on how to get the information you need to get a refund from ebay or your card provider if your dispute is turned down.

"My daughter went down to the mailroom as soon as we were told it was delivered… it never was there ( she looked for weeks)".
If you waited more than 30 days after tracking showed Delivered before trying to get help from ebay, you waited too long. eBay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) allows you 30 days from the date tracking gets a Delivered scan or from the last estimated delivery date if tracking is not provided, to file any ebay dispute. the link below is the MBG policy. I suggest saving/bookmarking it for future use.
You may be able to contact ebay through one of their social media outlets even though you are outside of the 30 day time frame. If you open the link posted above there are links to ebay's social media sites in the reply just before or after the best answer. You would need the ebay item number (12 digits long without hyphens) and the sellers user name without the number in ( ) to the right.
You can write out what happened and if the tracking delivered zip code is not yours post the tracking number. The rep can compare it to the address/zipcode in your order details and they may issue a courtesy refund.
If the zip code in the tracking information is yours, then you would need a letter from the P.O. and the GPS coordinates, to add to the message.
If you can't get a refund through ebay try filing a charge back through your card provider. Call the number on the back of the card and ask what info they would need as proof of non-delivery to your address.
As for feedback, if you leave a comment that contradicts the tracking information, it qualifies for removal. If you file and lose a dispute, a non-positive feedback will be removed, even if you win an appeal. Calling a seller names can also be a reason for removal, so just sticking to the facts is best.

I forgot to reply to: "I wonder how long my post will be left up??? ..."
Your post will remain, but the seller's username will be removed from it. eBay's community policy does not allow the naming and shaming of other members.

I am not shaming...I am just telling the truth. I have been treated unfairly by both eB.. and B_S. I posted because this is the only option I was given and I think people should know the truth. Buyer beware.

Thanks for the information. However I did immediately report that the item was not received and also formally told the seller and eBay within the 30 days. They said because it showed the package was delivered by the USPS... my claim was denied. I appealed...they denied again stating the same, that the USPS said the package was delivered. But delivered where? The package/gift was never received at the final destination .
I did go to my local PO and I filed a claim with the USPS. After weeks, I finally received a letter of apology from the USPS for my item not being received and the wishes that they hope I was not penalized. I was penalized...I was forced to pay for an expensive athletic shirt that never was received! I will never order again!

Did you read the information in the link I provided in my last reply? It tells you how you can try to get a letter from your P.O. Opening a missing package claim through a shipper will do nothing for you.
If it has been less than 30 days since the delivered scan was sent, you can post about the issue, on eBay's social media outlets. and add a scan or clear photo of the letter. If you paid with a credit card, they to would need that info if you file a charge back.

Yes I did, and thank you for your help!! So very much appreciated!! : )

What did the letter from USPS say?
