Nothing. Except don't rely on others to fill your orders. If you don't have the item in your possession or under your control (e.g. segregated for your use only at your call in a reliable warehouse) you are at the mercy of whoever does control the flow of those products.

Hopefully, you can learn from the experience. There's nothing you can do about the feedback.
The "out of stock" defect you got from eBay is a lot more damaging than that neg.

Alas! One of the hazards of drop shipping. You'll just have to live with the neg.

I'll bet you thought dropshipping would be easy money, right? Well, you made the deal with the Devil, and this is the price you pay from time to time. You have no control over inventory and shipping time. And now you have an unhappy buyer whose time was wasted — and even worse, a defect on your seller performance metrics for out-of-stock cancellation.
What can you do? Stop dropshipping.

Not use a "supplier" (i.e. stop drop shipping). Your supplier's error is your error. Haven't you watched Bug's Life? Everything is your fault.

With all due respect, have the item on hand so this doesn't happen again.
Enough situations like this and you will lose your selling privileges, and it doesn't take many.

dont sell something that you dont have!

When you have a completed auction with a winning bidder and the item is no longer available, it's up to you to either find a way to complete the transaction or accept whatever consequences from ebay and the buyer. Ideally, the item should be in your control from the time it's listed but if that isn't possible you should always have a plan B. Find out where else the item is available for immediate shipping and order it for your buyer, even if it costs more than the sale. Spending a few bucks is always worth avoiding an OOS defect.
Your buyer said that you didn't sell because the price was too low. Whether that's true or not, that will usually be the perception when a seller immediately cancels a low ending auction.
