Missing parts

I recently bought a sit and squat stool which had 3 of its anti-skid pads missing.
Seller refuses to send me pads and has offered me $8 refund. Original price was $13.95

The stool is useless without the anti-skid pads so I want a full refund. Am I being unreasonable?

@cin120

Ebay has a Money Back Guarantee, so you can file a Return Request for a full refund.

  • Go to your Purchase History, find the item, and under “More actions” click on “Return item” and select the reason for the return. "Doesn't match description".  Attach a photo.
  • The seller will have 3 business days to either accept the return and provide a prepaid return shipping label OR refund without having you return the item.
  • If they don't do either, you can go back to your Return Request details 4 business days after you filed the Request and ask Ebay to step in.

No, just file Item not as Described using the MBG

https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/return-item-refund?id=404...

The seller will provide a return label for you to send the stool back, if they do not do this within 4 days go back to the case and ask eBay to step in.

If you are thinking the seller should refund in full without the return, then yes, you are being unreasonable, they offered you a decent partial amount.

If it were me I would take the partial and buy the anti skid pad's to save the muck around, but that's just me.

Instead of getting them from the seller

You could accept the $8 refund @cin120 to buy the missing parts at a dollar store?

@xadexane

Furniture sliders are not the same as anti-skid pads. The OP does not want the stool to slide.

@cin120,

An $8 refund should be more than enough to cover the cost of buying some self adhesive anti skid material at a hardware, home improvement, or big box store like Walmart.  Since it seems most of those items come from China based sellers the cost for them to ship a sheet of the padding material would probably be more than what you paid for the whole stool.

  If you want a full refund you have to file an item not as described (INAD) dispute as others have written.  Then the seller would be responsible for paying the return shipping, or issuing a full refund.
