A seller, who did not use tracking, is asking me to mark an item as delivered when I receive it. How do I do this?

You can't, only tracking would mark it delivered.

I don't know if you can do it (per other poster, you can't) but what you can do, is to leave feedback. There is a question whether you received your order before a certain date. You can answer yes to that, if you did (and leave whatever feedback you deem appropriate).

There used to be such an option. I just looked and could not find it. eBay may have removed it.

Leaving feedback will allow seller know you received item. And also seller will leave feedback for you as well if seller didn't leave feedback. Not every seller needs to do tracking for inexpensive items. Plus, items not with tracking are getting delivered faster than with tracking these days

Is this a new seller? If so, they may not have realized eBay would be holding their funds for 21-30 days unless tracking shows the item delivered. They may be hoping if you can mark it delivered eBay will release their funds. Unfortunately only tracking will serve that purpose. Feedback is nice, but it also won't help the seller get their funds released.
