Issues with cancelation

So I was looking at a brake kit and my smart phone selected commit to buy in my pocket no big deal, right? I messaged them minutes after it happen and they have not got back to me. I've called 20+ times and messaged them around the same amount of times also. I can't talk to anyone at eBay and the eBay message system feels like I'm working with a robot and I'm getting no where with them. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of because I've tried fixing this over 100 times now. This is starting to feel like I'm being played. The item is over $500 dollars too...

Nope, did you read the topic?

Yes I did read the topic and your original post at the beginning of the thread.  That is where I learned that the issue was started by your phone committing to the purchase while in your pocket.  Thus my advice to not carry your phone in your pocket if it is going to buy stuff you do not want while in there.  😉

Here are some select quotes from the original opinion poster here:
message 1 I feel like I'm being taken advantage of
message 1 This is starting to feel like I'm being played.
message 3 I feel like this is a scam.
message 9 This is very shady if you ask me.
message 16 I'm being ignored and they are trying to make me pay for a item I clearly didn't want from the get go.
message 21 this company is taking advantage of me
message 22 I will say it again it feels shady to me
message 25 normally people scamming
message 29 You are crazy if you think I
message 36 someone is trying to scam me
I will digress to someone with a behavioral degree for analysis.

These are my favorite quotes from other opinion posters:
message 13 You do realize it’s a hassle for sellers when their item gets taken off the market and then they have to take steps to let a buyer off the hook and relist the item?  Why shouldn’t a pocket purchase get an unpaid strike?
message 26 You're the one who made a mistake here. The seller has not done anything to seem like a scammer.
message 30 Your distrust of the seller is unfounded when the seller isn't the one who made the error.

In my humble opinion:
a) Failure to secure your smart phone after browsing.
b) Failure to follow procedure and click on Request-To-Cancel transaction in the 1st golden hour.
c) No empathy for the inconvenience to the seller.
d) Not taking responsibility for the mistake.
The buyer is this brake kit thread is not out any money.

Maybe someone else remembers this recent story and can share the link.
The buyer was looking at a motor cycle on his phone in a restaurant during lunch hour from work.
He put the phone in his pocket and butt dialed Commit-To-Buy and then Send-Payment.
This was on eBay Motors, with Paypal, and a $500.00 dollar Non-Refundable deposit was deducted from his checking account.
eBay and Paypal denied all appeals and the seller kept the payment.
