So I was looking at a brake kit and my smart phone selected commit to buy in my pocket no big deal, right? I messaged them minutes after it happen and they have not got back to me. I've called 20+ times and messaged them around the same amount of times also. I can't talk to anyone at eBay and the eBay message system feels like I'm working with a robot and I'm getting no where with them. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of because I've tried fixing this over 100 times now. This is starting to feel like I'm being played. The item is over $500 dollars too...

This is the only buyer I've seen that won't let you see the over all with tax and this is the only time I've ever been ignored. They aren't replying to me a nd send payment reminders and made a case against me. I'm being ignored and they are trying to make me pay for a item I clearly didn't want from the get go.

This is not a scam. If they already filed an unpaid item case, they just don't agree to cancel. This is just the process. This can't be undone. No biggie, if you don't want the item, then don't pay for it. If you don't pay, you get the unpaid item strike, which I have mentioned is no big deal if you don't do this frequently.

A few things
I don't see any tax for them so I'm guessing you're in a state that hAs marketplace facilitator tax? If you are in one of those states the seller doesn't have anything to do with the taxes shown.
Payment reminders are mostly all automated the seller is high volume I doubt they are manually sending any of them. The unpaid item case also can be automated again with the sellers volume they probably have it set up to be done automatically. If an unpaid item case is open it sounds like you didn't send an official request to cancel. If an unpaid item case is open the transaction can no longer be just cancelled.
Committing to buy require pushing two buttons. Lock your phone in your pocket. This is not a scam this is your error as a buyer and not your sellers fault. Naming and in this case shaming accusing the seller of scamming is not allowed on the community boards so do not be surprised if your posts get edited to remove the sellers name

Would it take more time to cancel 1 order or setup a unpaid item case and payment reminders. My guess is this company is taking advantage of me not able to ralk to anyone at ebay over the phone to explain what's going on.
They don't set it up for each individual buyer that would be insanely time consuming and inefficient. A lot of the payment reminders are eBay. Sellers can also set up automatic reminders. Unpaid item cases can be set for the seller. When they set it it would apply to all the sellers transactions. It's set up in the seller settings and done. The seller doesn't have to worry about it when a buyer buys it's all automated.

You accidentally pocket purchased meaning hitting two buttons and noticed it within mins being able to message within mins so you had to take your phone out of your pocket see the error and message the seller in that time and the seller seems shady to you? How do you think this scenario would look to the seller if they have in fact read your messages would your story seem shady to the seller? Even if the seller has seen your messages the seller is in no way required to respond. If they were to respond they are in no way required to agree to cancel it's a request. This is a large seller with likely more than one person handling each area of the transaction. Communication usually isn't their strong points because of that. Just like when you email a large cooperation and you get back an automatic response but a personal person doesn't contact you until days later. This is your error the seller is not required to fix that for you. Once the unpaid item case closes giving you a strike you can email ebay which is how they are doing communication right now and ask them if they will remove the strike as a courtesy.

I hope it's just a setting and they haven't been ignoring me for 5 days straight. Their company phone number sounds like a google voice subscription too. Those are normally people scamming using those.

If they were scamming their feedback would be worse. They have very good feedback. They are not scamming. You're the one who made a mistake here. The seller has not done anything to seem like a scammer.

Now........................................... there is oddly, way down the thread, a mention of how the "sales tax" was not showing from this seller !!!!!!
Makes me a bit skeptical on the "pocket dial" reason, but really matters not.
Either you pay, or take the UPI strike. As pointed out. Not a big deal for you. Seller has been inconvenienced more than you have.
Unfortunately you messaged the seller to cancel rather than using the route provided in sale in the "golden hour".

I didn't let this go for days without taking action... You are crazy if you think I should pay over $500 for a item I don't want. I messaged and tried to cancel with in seconds. This is not a game, I'm trying to get info on how to get ahold of the seller or eBay not get shamed...

You're right it's not a game it's business. No one can force you to pay. The seller is not required to cancel and at this point can't with an unpaid item case open. You'll get an unpaid item strike for your mistake you can ask fo have it removed or you can just let it be. Either way be more careful in the future. Your distrust of the seller is unfounded when the seller isn't the one who made the error.
