Is there a way to disable offers for products I only barely visited?

I keep getting discounts from sellers even if I visited their items for only a few seconds. Items I am obviously not interested in buying. Is there a way to enable "seller sent you a discount" only for items that I am actually observing? the spam is unbearable, really. I am forced to navigate in incognito. thanks

You can disable offers in your account settings>> communication preferences.

@theevilpanda

It is an ALL or NOTHING sort of thing.  You receive them all or none of them, even the ones you may want.

Log out of eBay and clear your cookies before searching.

@theevilpanda,

You are receiving the offers because you are most likely clicking on Sponsored items on listing pages, or sponsored listings on search results pages.  When you see a list of other similar items on a listing you have opened, opening one, will generate an offer being sent.

On a search results page below the standard info if you see Sponsored and open the listing, that too will generate an offer being sent.

When you go to your Communications preferences look for Seller Offers, and toggle the switch to Off.

Check the "Personalized Recommendations" or "Personal Preferences" in the e-commerce platform settings to see if you can turn off or limit the promotion of products with insufficient browsing history.

In the browser or e-commerce app settings, look for features such as "Privacy Protection" or "Ad Blocking" to reduce such targeted recommendations.

Consider using third-party plug-ins or extensions, which can help filter out such spam and irrelevant promotion information
