I was buying a vintage kissing crane knife

It was supposed to be made in Germany it was stamped on the knife in the pictures when I received it it wasn't the same knife no Germany marking.low and behold it was a cheep china knock off and the seller was being very rude

Immediately file an Item Not as Described claim. When asked for details say what you said here.DO NOT contact the seller directly. They will drag you out until the file timeline expires then you are screwed.

 

This is not just some kind of error. As you described the event this was a deliberate distortion.

Why are you bothering to communicate with the seller?  Simply use the Return item button to the right of the item title, on your purchase history page. On the page that opens,  select Item Not As Described.  The seller will have 3 days to provide a return shipping label and if they do not, you ask ebay to step in.  You may want to read the terms and time frames of eBay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) and book mark it for future use.
