How to combine offers?

So, a seller is making me discount offers on multiple items, but I can't figure out how to do combined shipping, which seller offers. If I add to cart, it uses the non discounted price. If I accept offer, I have to pay full shipping for each item. There has to be a way to do this.

@stevescho

At the last seller update, eBay said that all SELLER GENERATED offers will be immediate payment required.  So, just like IPR on a regular fixed price listing, they each have to be paid separately at full shipping cost.  There will be no combining items/invoicing for a single shipment at reduced shipping for multiple accepted offers from the same seller.

eBay does not like combined shipping.  They prefer the separate transaction fees collected from the seller, and the increased item count that this scheme provides.   At least you can choose how to pay, unlike when you are forced to put up a payment source upfront for auto-billing.

Sellers cannot turn this one off.  You can ask the seller if they will refund the excess shipping after the fact, but there is no requirement in place that ensures they comply.

It makes less sense to 'accept' offers at all if it is going to cost you more to do so.

Re: How to combine offers?

Well that's just about the worst idea ever. Why would I pay $15 international shipping on each of 20 items  between $5 and $10 discounted by 10%? Seller will combine up to 2 kg of item wt. Like 50 items for what he sells . I'll give it another day for one of you geniuses to come up with a better trick, otherwise, I guess I'll pay regular price with combined shipping.

Re: How to combine offers?

If the seller is willing ask if they  can make a private listing with the items you want. Then once he or she puts it up they will send you the listing then you hit the buy it now, shipping will be cheaper. I've done this myself for buyers. If ebay was against combining shipping they would not have it where a seller can do it.
