I have received an offer from something I must have clicked on- I DID NOT "watch" this item for sale. BIN. Unless I win the powerball, I have ZERO INTEREST in purchasing this item. Was sent an offer that's 10-15% off or so-still out of my price range. The offer notification WON'T go away, even after 3-4 days. I would like to "clear" this notification from my seller feed and NOT receive other notifications about this item-unless the seller is offering it at 90% or more off their listing price-which I DO NOT expect to happen. From what I've seen, there is no way for me to "reject" this offer and dispose of it that way.
It's not a major problem, just annoying to see this time, after time, after time, after time, etc.
Thoughts???

Technically, I thought offers were made on each item one time per prospective buyer.
The way mine come across as a seller
it gives the impression I am sending out an offer to someone who is interested.
I've gotten offers when I am merely window shopping
I knock it off my notifications sometimes
and I have never had the same offer.
I can tell you that I appreciate sellers making offers when I am interested in actually buying something.

Normally you can click on the offer and decline it. Yes Ebay allows sellers to send offers to potential buyers who click on the ad. Nothing can be done about that unless Ebay makes a change. I get those types of surprise special offers all the time. I do research on an item and all the sudden I get a special offer for that item.

Not sure how you are keep having it pop up, generally I only see the message once. Delete if from your message box and after an offer from a seller and 96 hours has passed, delete it from offers you have received. You don't need to reject the offer just ignore it.
Offers from sellers cannot be removed before the 96 hours are up.

I'm able to decline the offer. I've never received a second offer on the same item.

"It's not a major problem, just annoying to see this time, after time, after time, after time, etc".
Whenever you click on a Sponsored listing that you see on an Item's listing page, The line of photos below the listing titles, or on search results pages if you see Sponsored over the title, You can expect to have an offer sent to you.
The sellers who list the sponsored listings pay extra for the search visibility and offers will be sent automatically after a selected number of people view the item(s). Since the sellers pay extra for those listings ebay will not allow the offers to be blocked.
As the last reply shows you, you can decline the offers, and they can be deleted from your inbox. Just check the box to the right of the offer message, then click on the trash can symbol.
OOPs,
I almost for got to respond to:
"I would like to "clear" this notification from my seller feed"
As long as you shop or look at items from your selling account, you will receive the offers on this ID. If you have a buying only ID use that account to shop or research prices from, then they will not appear in your Selling messages or feed. It is easy to set up a buying only account.

You don't have to put an item on your watch list to get those. Just looking at it can trigger that. You can avoid all that by logging out of eBay when just looking. Then they don't know who you are.

In the search for uses for AI, Ebay is generating messages and offers for items which Ebayer's have visited.
Costs very little. Is a effort to help the cry babies who are bemoaning their lack of sales. And usually affects only a small number of sellers significantly - Those who entertain themselves by browsing Ebay.
I loath it, but I try not to look at too much crap on this site.

I frequently get 'offers' regarding items I've viewed ONLY to answer a question here in the Community. [They apparently are sent automatically by certain sellers.] If there were a way to stop them ... I'd certainly tell you ... AND use it.

Maybe you could use your browser's incognito mode? I need to give that a try. Most everything I look at is an item I am looking to sell and I'm checking out the comps. Don't need two...
