I’m a buyer and seller but these days mainly a buyer.
i had a password hacked which among many other accounts but they really spent up big on eBay.
No real harm to me.
Im an unwell oldie and not techie at all but I managed to get my eBay account back but I’m an Aussie and I now have a US account.
Ive managed to get rid of the new primary address in Florida BUT I can’t seem to get back to having an Australian account which is REALLY annoying.
Can anyone help me in simple terms please?
TIA.

Your feedback page shows you're still registered in Australia - that has not changed. Why do you say you now have a US account @homeopathmichele57 ?
FYI you are on the US .com forum. Make sure you're visiting eBay.com.au if you want to shop eBay Australia, and for the AUS forums visit community.eBay.com.au
Here's the AUS help page for hacked accounts: https://www.ebay.com.au/help/account/account-safety/account-theft?id=4196

Every time I do a search it's products in the US - with the AU$ weak against the US$ & the cost of postage it's just not viable.
When eBay AU restored my account it was to this site.
I've only found your answer - thank you - due to the Aussie discussion board, someone directed me here.
I'm not suggesting that the woman in Florida US was the person who hacked me because my understanding is I was hacked in Canada BUT she is listed as my PRIMARY address & eBay won't let me change it.
I'm So frustrated after nearly a year of trying off& on as health allows.
Do you have any recommendations for me please?
With all the grandkids birthdays imminent & Xmas around the corner it's gone on long enough now.
Thank you for showing an interest, Michele.

Try following this after you sign out of eBay.com and are signed into eBay au
My eBay>account>addresses>there you will see a list of different addresses registered to your account and you can click EDIT on EACH option and make changes as needed.
In the future, do not contact any member outside of eBay. One of the more recent ones involves getting a message from a prospective buyer that tells you that they can't pay. They will tell you they contacted eBay customer service, and provide you with a link to use (supposedly from an eBay customer service agent) in order to solve the problem. The link is fake, you likely have to "sign in" which provides the scammer with your credentials to sign in as YOU and change all sorts of things.
