How do I delete or edit "Recommended for You" and/or "Frequently Searched by You"?

There is old stuff there that I don't want anymore.

Some of the rows of suggested items that appear on the main eBay page can be cleared by going to the Recently Viewed page and using the "Clear all" option. Other sections may be based on your current saved searches or saved sellers.

Items that are suggested based on past searches can apparently only be displaced by performing new searches, though.

If you really do not want to see suggestions based on your past searches, it is possible to use the element hiding tool of an ad blocker to hide that section of the main page, or to simply avoid that page altogether.

Walk me through this please.  I really don’t want to see “recommended for me” crap.

Bookmark a different page and you never have to see those.

If you want to block those sections of the main page, what browser and ad blocker are you using?

I also have an issue with the recommended for you, but I don't want to get rid if it entirely. I'm still getting recommendations based on stuff I searched two months ago, and I purchased one of those items. I don't want to buy another one and I haven't been searching it recently, so why do I keep getting recommended this stuff?

Welcome to Amazon. My searches are so different over time, what's shown is completely irrelevant. I have NEVER in two decades or so picked a recommended item.

I have never found a way. Only solution, is to only search for items when logged out of ebay. then just log in to buy
