I purchased an item that I believed to be TWO (Qty: 2), but when I received it there was just ONE.
I looked back at the purchased item and it now showes Qty:1, however when I view the edit details it shows that the Qty has been edited. But it does not show me what was changed about the Qty.
Please let me know if this was TWO or ONE at the time of purchase.
Thank you.

Go to your My eBay at the top of your page and click Purchase History. That should have the item you purchased without edits. Did the listing state there were 2 available or that the listing was for 2. If you want to post the item number, it would make it easier to figure out which.

when I view the edit details it shows that the Qty has been edited.
That Qty is the number of items the seller had in stock, not the number that you purchased.
Example: listing is for a left-handed screwdriver and Qty is 149. When you make the purchase, you select the number of screwdrivers you want, but the default is 1, and 1 is the number you are buying unless you enter a higher number.
So it sounds like you just bought one.

I see that at least one of the sellers you purchased from (fishing items) notes there are more available to purchase. Example: If they have 3 and sell one, the listing would be edited to show that now only 2 are available. That may have been the case. An easy mistake to make for new buyers.

On quantity listings, you have to adjust the number in the box before you purchase to reflect the number you wish to buy as the default is one.
If you look at a quantity listing, it will show how many available and the number in the box will show one. To buy more than one, you must enter the number you want in that box and then move to check out to pay.
It does not work by showing a quantity of two and your buying it generating that you bought two. You have to indicate that you want to buy two by entering two. Hope this helps!
