I was searching for various things and now I am deluged with images of PICKS FOR YOU when I come back to ebay.
I found someone asking about this sort of thing and the answer there was to CLEAR your recent items or whatever which I did but that does NOT get rid of this PICKS FOR YOU crap.
Is there anyway to do that???
Thanks.

What page are you looking at? The main eBay page?
The easiest solution is to choose a different page to bookmark or set as a browser homepage and avoid eBay's picks entirely.
Other solutions take much more time and effort.

same issue, 3rd row of search results is now "Picks for you" which is all ads that look exactly like other results but don't follow filters or price sorting. first noticed this behavior on etsy and looks like its moved here. search us unusable until i can remove this

I agree that these are annoying. EBay you are cluttering up things. I long for the simplicity of eBay. Seems like most changes made make things harder to use and confusing. Leave things alone. Please.

I tried going to My eBay > Recently Viewed and deleted the contents. However this doesn't help and PICKS FOR YOU persist. This is so annoying and is actually an invasion of privacy. What I'm looking for is my business and I don't want any suggestions by a third party. Whoever on eBay thought this up, needs fired.
Am using Windows 10 PC with Chrome.
All said and done, I am not buying my item on eBay because of this. Off I go to the greener pastures that don't have the aforementioned annoying feature. The greener pastures also have reviews of the products and not just a seller feedback. More common sense.

This doesn't work

You can't avoid them entirely. Not possible.

Apparently it is possible to avoid them, since I have somehow managed to not see them.
What page are you seeing them on?
There is a good chance you can block them using an element hiding tool of an ad blocker, at least in certain desktop browsers.

Apparently the answer (Avoid the Main Page) is the only way to avoid it. My Picks for You is now clouded with political ornaments. I've been buying Halloween ornaments including evil clowns. Is that why ornaments of political figures are now in my Picks for You!? Makes my blood boil!

The ublock suggestion worked for me, at least until ebay figures out how to get around it. Thanks bud.

Hi, can you please instruct us how one can actually "add a filter" to ublock? The only thing I can see is "Details" and "Permissions" and nothing can be added, changed, etc. Many thanks!

Please just do away with the infuriating 'picks for you' feature.

eBay is not here; this is a user forum.
If eBay will not do away with those features, you will have to do it yourself using an ad blocker.

If eBay doesn't offer a convenient way to clear the "Picks for you" section within the next 30 days, I'm deleting my eBay account and will NEVER buy here again. Having unwanted content appear on my eBay home page every time I come here is unacceptable.
