Hi, i was looking at an item, I asked the guy how much success he has had with it, and he blocked me. I read more reviews, went to a website, purchased from the same guy, so I got one. Why would he block me ? Did I offend him somehow ? Just had another guy buy something. There was no name in the address. P.O. would not accept. I asked him for his name so I could ship to him, He came back with info about asking people for info violates ebay policy. What am I doing wrong? I kinda pride myself for being Honest and a Good Seller, Tis the Season

Buyers who think they are doing sellers a favor? The worst kind. In the current environment even worse than NPBers. At least there's a 10-step recovery plan for them. There is no proper plan for hissy fits.
Smart business should be mutually beneficial. Nobody can tell anyone else at what point the scale tips and any potential upside is now a distant dream. eBay chose this path when they said sellers' voices were no longer needed. Many of us now live with an ounce of prevention over the pound of cost.
And growing BBL lists.

I could not agree more.
But, Ebay management is not listening...I've tried on multiple occasions (for years at a time) to try and explain to them, the error of their ways. Only now has Ebay begun to reverse some of their imbecilic mistakes, but it's way too little and way too late...not to mention mismanaged payments has already broken the camel's back...
