Your bought items list only goes back 60 days. The purchase history time frame can be expanded to show purchases from January 1, 2020 until now. If it is still not showing, most likely the seller and the item were removed from ebay. Even if it is showing in your purchase history, the transaction details are only available for 90 days from the date of purchase. That is why ebay cannot find the transaction. If you did go through ebay's check out process and paid with PayPal, you only have PayPal protections for up to 180 days (6 Months) from the date of purchase.

Do you mean you have messages in your eBay messages saying you paid, or are these regular emails? Did you have to contact the seller to arrange payment or did you pay from the listing page itself going through the check out process or the Cart?
If you did not pay from the listing or through the Cart, it is highly likely you were scammed, especially, if the figurine was a pre-release item. If the seller sent you their email address for you to pay by bank transfer or to their PayPal account you were scammed. Sellers are not supposed to list pre-release items that are not due to be available more than 30 days from the date of purchase.
