Ebay Screwed Up My Order - Click & Collect

I ordered something and the order didn't go through properly the first time. So then I rushed through the process the 2nd time and it set my Click & Collect address to a shop in the middle of nowhere even though I "saved" my preferred address when I went through the checkout the first time and have tried to save my preferred Click & Collect address multiple times, but it keeps defaulting to the stupid shop in the middle of nowhere.

I'd literally like to blacklist that shop in future so I never have to deal with this nonsense ever again or at the very least actually save my preferred Click & Collect address. Is there anyway to do this?

I tried to cancel the order after realising it was being sent to the wrong address (within a few minutes of placing the order), but haven't heard back yet.

Between the payment issue and then Ebay screwing up the delivery address it's turned it into such an incredibly frustrating buying experience. I was rushing in the hopes of getting it sent out today and now I have to try to get a refund instead and wait for that to go though. And of course there seems to be no way to complain to Ebay about all this.

You tried to purchase an item.....it failed.

You tried again and used an address in the middle of nowhere???

Why is that addy on you ship to list??

Your responsibility to have the correct addy on file to use...

Check your account and clean up the addys on file:

is the advice as a user like you are give.

I think a lot of the reason we're finding your post a bit incomprehensible is that you're in the UK but you posted this on the US forums. I personally don't have the foggiest notion what a Click & Collect is. So you might have better luck posting this on the UK forums.

In general, though, eBay shows the shipping address on the checkout screen. It's the buyer's responsibility to make sure that address is correct, and change it if it's not, no matter how big a rush they're in.
